Conveniently located off Highway 29, the main road into the Napa Valley wine country, sits the Hilton Garden Inn (Calif.). Within the Hilton is the Great American Grill, which serves American food for breakfast and dinner, and features outdoor patio seating. The hotel's wine bar serves beer and Napa Valley wines each afternoon through late night.
The front desk can arrange for bicycle rentals, with bikes and equipment brought directly to the hotel for guests. Hot-air ballooning, and helicopter and airplane sightseeing are available at the Napa Valley Airport, within 10 miles of the hotel. Public tennis courts are within a five-minute walk. Driving Directions
From San Francisco International Airport:
Exit the airport and take US-101 N toward San Francisco. Bear right onto I-80 E and cross the Bay Bridge, proceeding east on I-80 for 32 miles. Take the exit for Hwy 37 / Napa / San Rafael toward Napa, and drive west for 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Sonoma Blvd, which becomes CA-29, and proceed north for 14 miles. Turn left onto Redwood Rd and go one block. Turn right onto Solano Ave, and hotel is one-quarter mile on left.
From SFO and OAK, rental cars and airport shuttles are the most popular options. Car rentals are available online.
